"I found this item on the removal of digital noise signatures - Avoiding Camera Noise Signatures. Although it does have some interesting tips (I'd forgotten about all of the file information that is appended to digital camera files), it doesn't really help to remove noise signatures. Be sure to wade through the comments at the bottom of the first page; lots of interesting stuff there.
Amusingly, the person who uploaded the information uses the same online name as Marcus (the protagonist in the novel) does in Little Brother - w1n5t0n."

"Isn't that what disposable cameras are for? If someone were to put memory chips into them instead of film, they'd be perfect for the kind of photography we need. As it is, though, the current crop of disposable cameras mean you need to be your own processor, if you want to avoid government entanglements. And that brings its own risks - mostly from DHS types."
