Ideator
A computer device specifically made to help model genes and proteins for identification. (Read
the full article)
"There's been a lot of work over many years to correlate DNA and protein sequences to biological funtion. There's a more recent focus upon predicting 3D protein structures and correlating such structures to biological function. These pursuits are made possible by computational tools that find homologues of new sequences in databases of existing sequences, and that facilitate molecular modeling and 3D imaging. The Ideator seems to be a rational projection of these tools: a specialized supercomputer and applications packed into a cube."
