"between WW1 and WW2 the US navy expermentd with a magnetic machine gun that supposedly pushed bullets at a 1000 a minute. I read the article in High school in either 39 or 40 a picture of the gun was shown in the book that was in the high school library in Palm Beach High in West Palm Beach FL"
