Fascinating work describes a voyage of discovery by Domingo Gonsales; he trains forty wild geese to pull his flying machine. He doesn't realize that they migrate each year to the Moone until he leaves the earth.

This fascinating work was begun in 1589; it was published posthumously. The novel has been translated into many languages and influenced writers for centuries; Verne and Poe both described themselves as having been influenced by Godwin. Select an invention:
