David Drake

David Drake (b. 1945) writes primarily in the military science fiction area. He has a B.A. in History from the University of Iowa, and served in the army from 1969-71, spending most of 1970 as an interrogator with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, in Vietnam and Cambodia. He also finished law school (having been drafted out of it) and served as Asst. Town Attorney of Chapel Hill, N.C.
