Comments on Spider Blood In Amber Brings Jurassic Park Closer
Is it possible to get DNA from the blood of this ancient spider. (Read
the complete story)
"The theory in jurassic park was, I believe, that dinosaur blood was taken from the mosquitoes, who had fed shortly before becoming encased. So you'd be right in saying that the chance of ressurecting dinosaurs from spider blood is remote!"

"Right - the point is, however, that if it turns out to be possible to recover DNA from creatures that are 20 million years old, that even more remarkable things (like finding dinosaur DNA) might also be possible."
