| "I've seen something kinda like this, tho it wasn't individual-level rescue. The story was about some "ambulance paramedics" on a space station (which was under construction), and the problems they had. The feature that reminds me of this was that, due to the complexity of the necessary flight paths through the construction (complex in timing, not just direction of movement) the ambulance-shuttle was remote controlled by the station's nav comp. (which was one of the problems they had. it tended to use sudden bursts of acceleration interspersed with coasting, which did _not_ help the medics take care of wounded astronauts...)"
