Comments on Boeing Sixth Gen Fighter Needs No Pilot
How can pilots survive the high-gee maneuvers of the 21st century? (Read the complete story)

"The video gamers of the next decade will be remotely flying the fighters of 2030. Stargate: SG1 had an episode involving this concept too."
(Dewtey 11/10/2010 7:11:16 AM)
"I'm not sure if I've found the episode you're referring to: it's called Stargate: SGI "Entity". In this episode, a remotely piloted device malfunctions badly. Once these weaponized planes are set free to fly, the problem of making sure that there are no bugs present will become apparent. See this earlier article Runaway Armed MQ-9 Reaper Drone Shot Down."
(Bill Christensen 11/10/2010 9:02:59 AM)
"I'm not sure what the name of it was either, but the team was helping in a 'civil war', and found they were on the wrong side as their 'friends' were attempting genocide of the surface population so they could start awaken their own Master Race of perfect clones. At least that's the one I was thinking of."
(Dewtey 11/13/2010 5:37:31 PM)
"Found it, Episode 2 of season 4, The other side."
(Dewtey 11/13/2010 5:41:59 PM)
"Dewtey, great; I think I can watch it at IMDB or hulu. Maybe I can get a good screen capture."
(Bill Christensen 11/14/2010 1:06:52 PM)
