Comments on Android Glass Desk Phone
I'm really in retro gadget heaven now; this is totally an update for one of my favorite work phones at Northern Telecom back in the 1980's. (Read the complete story)

"why is the handset on the left of the monitor? shouldn't it be on the right?"
(gid 8/22/2009 6:06:26 PM)
"most people would hold the phone with their left hand, and dial or write with their right hand"
(um 8/23/2009 6:20:21 PM)
"I could probably help with a pic of either the Display Phone or DV-1 terminal. What are you looking for? and how badly do you need it?"
(herenow 9/14/2009 1:38:10 PM)
"I just wanted it to add to the article; I worked for NT in Ann Arbor."
(Bill Christensen 9/14/2009 6:51:52 PM)
"and how do I send it?"
(herenow 9/15/2009 7:34:23 AM)
"I'm sorry; I should have let you know. Just sent pictures to me at owner@technovelgy.com."
(Bill Christensen 9/15/2009 2:03:14 PM)
"Thanks to herenow - the Northern Telecom display phone, just like I remembered it.

Also, take a look at some of the functionality available twenty years ago. On the right phone.

"
(Bill Christensen 9/21/2009 9:10:57 AM)
"Here is a flickr link with some DV-1 pics. The system was ahead of it's time...way too pricey though. Cheap ethernet won:
Northern Telecom M4020 "
( 10/6/2009 10:15:31 AM)
"Hey, thanks a lot! I didn't have the right model number to search on. I converted your pasted URL to a link to make it easier."
(Bill Christensen 10/6/2009 11:43:40 AM)
