| "As far as I know, the NASA tires are almost entirely handmade, which would make them too expensive. I don't know if it would be worth exploring other methods of fabrication. I agree with Yossi that you wouldn't want to drive them on conventional roads; I'd add that the traction of metal springs on concrete is probably poor. Offroad, maybe?"
