When thinking of science fiction blades, probably my all time favorite, except the light sabre, is the Dragon's Tooth Nanosword from Deus Ex.

If we're talking blades in general and including chainsaws, then I think one of the coolest weapons ever invented is the chainsaw gun in Gears of War.
