You can tell the holiday season is approaching; I'm fondly remembering one of my favorite toys from the 1960's - and look, somebody made a giant version of it. (Read

Apparently, the device is no longer available, mostly due to safety concerns about what happens if you shoot one too close to someone's ear. For my opinion on taking the Air Blaster off the market, see Child-Safety Experts Call For Restrictions On Childhood Imagination. As I recall, the most dangerous thing about the Air Blaster was that it developed a crack in the plastic just above the grip; you could get a nasty pinch in the skin between your thumb and forefinger if you weren't careful."
