Directed by Ridley Scott, screenwriters Hampton Fancher and David Peoples made Philip K. Dick's Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep come alive. Manufactured human beings called "replicants" escape from off-world colonies and come to Earth. Rick Deckard, a semi-retired blade runner, is called to retire them (hunt them down, and kill them).
