AS AN EXAMPLE, IF YOU LIVE IN PARIS IN THE YEAR OF 1612, AND IF YOU WANT SOMETHING BETTER THAN CANDLES TO LIGHT YOUR HOUSE, AND IF YOU USE TECHNICAL REMOTE VIEWING TO LOOK FOR A BETTER HOUSE LIGHTING SYSTEM, YOU WILL BE UTTERLY CLUELESS WHILE LOOKING AT AN INCANDESCENT LIGHTBULB. YOU REALLY WIL NOT KNOW THE MATERIALS, YOU WON'T HAVE THE METHODS OF ITS CONSTRUCTION, NOR REALIZE THE NEED FOR A GENERATOR. YOU HAVE TO CAREFULY RECONSIDER YOUR PARAMTERS AND SE EVRY SQUARE INCH OF YOUR POSIBLE LIGHTING SYSTEM SEVERAL TIMES. I TYPICALLY VISIT THE EQUIVALENT OF JUNIOR TECHNICAL COLLEGE LECTURES, WHERE THINGS ARE MADE VERY CLEAR. IN PARIS, IN 1612, YOU REALLY NED A CARBON ARC LAMP. THE CLERC-BUREAU SYSTM WAS IDEAL FOR INDOOR USE. IT IS MY IMPRESSION THAT BEAM LOKED AT THE HOME LINE POLICE OPRATIONS AND SAW A RELATIVELY HEALTHY SOCIETY, WHJEREAS WHAT I SAW--IF THE SAME THING--HAD A RUTHLESS TENOR, AND WAS HEAVILY TINGED BY AN AGGRESSIVE REICH PROTECTORATE COLOR.
