| "So there are others out there who want a robotic horse! Just the other day I described my ideal robotic horse to my husband. We have The ideal for me would be 2 modes: stationary and moveable. With the stationary we could ride him in place and the robotic horse would imitate the walk, trot , canter, gallop, maybe even jump and do cross country. It would be programable. This could be hooked up to a TV, kind of like some of those new interactive games, maybe even a vitural reality set up.
A stationary one might be easier to build than the moveable one. Now the moveable one we could ride in the yard. Either way the robotic horse could be kept in the house and fed a bottle of WD 40 every now and then. | "Robtics are coming a long way. I'd like a robotic horse that could imitate the walk, trot, canter and jumping, slong with the screen like you see on the video games. With all the technology, including 3d technology a smart person could develop a cross country 3 d video programed to go with the riding and the horse. Wish I were that smeart person. Riding is good for balance and exercise but not everyone has the ability to afford the upkeep of a horse.
